Happy Birthday to you. . . .!
OK- so I am borrowing a saying from my sister-in-law, she always says that she expected to have "phantom labor pains" on her kids' 1st birthdays!!! At exactly 10:22 am, 1 year ago today, Ewan Wesley entered this world, pink and screaming!!!!! I have to say- I fully expected to wake at 5:30 am this morning with mild contractions reminscent of the "real deal". I am amazed as I look at these first 3 pictures, taken when he was just minutes old- there is truly nothing like having a baby. I remember the flood of overwhelming emotions as I held our much anticipated baby- a little boy!!!! Thank you God for blessing us with such a gift!

I LOVE that picture of him in the bassinet when he was little-beautiful! His expression in that last picture is GREAT! he is so cute.
