First "Real" Haircut

So we finally bit the bullet and decided to actually pay for a haircut for Ewan. Denny has been cutting his hair and doing a fabulous job, however, Ewan's hair is getting quite long and more and more difficult to cut. . . Anyway, I took him to Hair Cuttery on the spur of the moment- he was sooo good, although I think he wasn't too thrilled with the whole escapade. But, now his hair isn't unruly and crooked and he looks even more handsome than ever!!!

Daddy's helper

As we continue with our kitchen remodel, Ewan has become more and more fascinated with what Denny is doing. Ewan spends much of each day pointing out all of daddy's newest changes to the kitchen and attempting to mimic daddy working (aka, trying to climb the ladder, "spackling"- is this the correct spelling? with a potato brush and pointing out nails in the floor). Recently, Denny decided to put Ewan to work- he's not too young to help, right? :)

Big Boy Room!!!

In preparation for the newest McIlhinney addition, we moved Ewan into his "new big boy room" over the weekend! He absolutely loves his new room and has been sleeping like a champ in it!!! We are putting off the "big boy bed" for as long as possible . . .so far, no attempts to get out of his crib have been made . . .!
