Ewan loves to go to the local playground and just run around outside. It is so fun to watch him explore both nature and his mobility!!!

Not too sure about the actual playground. . .
But, I really love this stickHe looks like such a big kid. . .

First Drawing

Another first- Ewan has discovered drawing! While at the pediatrician's for a scheduled well visit, one of the developmental questions asked was, "Does he scribble?". I thought, huh, we haven't tried that yet! So, I told the nurse we had not yet attempted this and then proceeded to pull a pen and paper out while we waited (for AN HOUR- but that's another story. . .) and Ewan LOVED it!!! Hence, the trip to Wal-Mart to get the little man some age appropriate writing implements. . .

Pumpkin Patch!

We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch! Ewan picked out pumpkins, saw a couple beautiful ponds with gorgeous white swans swimming, went on a hayride and saw an emu!!!!! Ewan's mom-mom joined us and treated us all to lunch at our favorite diner- it was such a special day!!! Denny and I hope to take Ewan again this fall as we want to explore the corn maze and check out the emu a little more!!!!

Our little man has become quite the walker!!!

He has also taken to running away from me whenever I ask if his diaper needs to be changed- it is hilarious! He gets so excited and giggles so hard as he runs the other way with his hands held high up in the air- I really need to get a video of it!!!

Spending the day at Grampy's

Ewan loved Hans- he was not scared of him AT all! Ewan was worn out after walking all over Grampy's nice big back yard!
