Playing at the park baseball field

Ewan loves going to the park and still enjoys riding in the stroller (thank goodness, since we just bought the mammoth double stroller!!) He has recently taken to playing "baseball"- anything that involves throwing or kicking a ball he has decided is baseball- it is so cute!! So, since our local park has multiple baseball fields, we often go for a walk and "play baseball" so Ewan can burn off some energy and enjoy time outdoors!

Play

Ewan and I went to the park last week on a beautiful day and Ewan had a blast!!! He has taken to running and LOVES wide, open spaces where he can just run run run! There was also a playground (he cannot seem to get enough of these!) that had dinosaurs- heaven for an almost 2 year old little boy!!!

A day at the park

Because yesterday was such a beautiful day and Ewan and I both needed some sunshine and warm weather, we went to the park twice!!! It was so fun to watch Ewan discover how to crawl through the tunnel and go down the slide!!! There was a bunch of other little ones running around playing and, at first, Ewan was quite shy about the whole situation. But, after watching all the other little kids having so much fun on the playground, his curiosity got the best of him and he decided to give it a go!!! I was so proud of the little guy as I watched him cautiously climb up and enter the tunnel- by the time he made it through the other side he was so excited and could not wait to go down the slide- we had so much fun!!!!!

Ewan has really taken to his cousin Faryn- it is too cute! We spent a few hours with her yesterday. . .


Faryn is such a big helper and Ewan was loving the attention!

Anyway, we had a really nice time- Ewan seems to be feeling better- in fact, I have canceled the appointment to the pediatrician's for now- hopefully this cold will blow over and no ear infection will appear!
