Night Time Cloth

So, I have been wanting to switch Ewan to using cloth diapers at night, but have been afraid to make the switch as a completely different system is necessary. After doing some more research and discussing the options with other cloth diapering moms- we have made the switch!!! And 2 nights in a row- no leaks whatsoever! I have to admit, I had a lot of fun ordering the diapering supplies I need for overnight cloth- and Ewan looks too cute in his new dipes for bedtime!

Now, the next step, cloth in the kitchen (towels, not dipes :)!). . . I have been disgusted by the amount of paper towels that I use in 1 day as well as the amount of garbage we generate and have now decided that we are going to switch to cloth rags for clean-up in the kitchen.

So you say I'm crazy. . .

Cloth diapering- yes, I do it. "Craziness", "out of your mind" you say- well, maybe, but I actually LOVE it!! How strange is that? Well, I have to say that as a young girl, when I thought about having children, I always thought I'd use cloth. So, when Denny and I found out we were expecting, we decided to use cloth diapers for many reasons. Financial, environmental and health reasons all played into the final decision. It was rather overwhelming at first as there are about a million different types of cloth diapers, some of which are ridiculously expensive. But, I found a great website for learning about and ordering cloth diapers: http://www.cottonbabies.com/. Now, I do have to mention that we do use disposables overnight and when away from home for longer periods of time- and they ARE convenient, that is for sure. However, I simply cannot get over how CUTE my little guy is crawling around in cloth!!!!!
