Ewan and I had a blast this morning while Liam slept all cozy and warm in his snuggly crib. We had quite the rain storm and Ewan wanted to check it out, so I thought, "Why not?". Needless to say, he had so much fun running in the wet grass and splashing in the puddles. Pure joy was written all over his sweet little face. . . it reminded me to take advantage of the simple joys in life and to stop looking so hard for "activities". Sometimes, simply playing in the rain is all we need, child and adult alike. I have to say, I'm pretty sure pure joy was written all over my face as well as I enjoyed one of the wonders of God's creation with my son.
