Craziness

Things have been quite crazy in our household as of late. . . Ewan had the stomach flu, followed by Liam giving us quite a scare. Basically, Liam spit up, began choking and subsequently started to turn blue . . . after a frantic 911 call at 7 in the morning, Liam and I made our way to the hospital via ambulance- thankfully, Liam was screaming the entire way. My wonderful neighbor, sister-in-law and mother-in-law and sweet husband watched Ewan while we spent a night in the hospital. An 18 hour test was required for sweet little Liam and he was found to have apnea and reflux- so we were discharged home with an apnea monitor and a couple meds. Needless to say, we are happy to be home and thankful that Liam is just fine. He will outgrow both the apnea and reflux which we are looking forward to. The monitor is a blessing as well as it gives us peace of mind when he is sleeping, even though it is quite an inconvenience for now. . . but a worthwhile inconvenience! Once we came back home and things settled down, Ewan got a nasty cold and we are desperately trying to avoid the pediatrician's office as he seems to pick up a new bug every time we are there!

Sweet Liam all hooked up and ready to go

Ewan was glad to have both his baby brother and mommy home
