HEART ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok- so Ewan just SCARED ME TO DEATH!!!!!! He just climbed 9 steps of our HARDWOOD staircase- I was "indisposed" and had to leave him for just a minute. Apparently, we need a gate at the bottom of the steps now. He has never shown ANY interest in the stairs and of course, I figured I would wait to put a gate there- BIG MISTAKE!!!! Thank the Lord for his protection!

same thing happened with us! we found her halfway up the stairs. we went out and bought a gate (that you install that's always there) immediately, but didn't install it...and still haven't. we have one that you can put there that we usually use, but I figure the install kind will just be bothersome...so we're sticking with the kind you can put there or on another doorway too. we figure this time will pass. we of course have a permanently installed one at the top. I long for a one story house...
