My Man Rocks!

Blogging? Well, why not? After much encouragement from my dear friend and my sister-in-law, I have decided to take the plunge! So, here we go. . . my first 3 days as a mama without my man!! Denny went away for some much needed R&R consisting of fishing and hunting and I have been home with the little guy- I thought, "no big deal"- boy was I wrong!!!!! I AM EXHAUSTED!!!!!!!! I am so excited to see the love of my life and thrilled that he was able to get away AND I have realized what an INCREDIBLE help he is in caring for our son! I just want everyone to know that my husband ROCKS!!! Every night he plays with Ewan and helps bathe him prior to bedtime- Denny is such an encouragement to me when I am frustrated with motherhood (yes, it does happen at times :)!) I also want to point out that Ewan and I made it to church- yeah, that's right, I got out the door in time to go to church and Ewan actually made it through nursery for the 2nd Sunday in a row!!!!!! I have to admit, I had NO idea how much Denny helped to get us out the door on time on Sunday mornings until I had to do it myself. . .whew- I am worn out!
